Multiple design considerations were made to make sure that our Field Drive VFD
keeps operating within its specified temperature range. The Drive’s heat sink is mounted out of the back of the enclosure, removing almost 90% of its heat, and eliminating the need for enclosure cooling fans. And, because the Field Drive requires no air filters, you eliminate the risk of filter-clogging and premature equipment failure caused by a dusty environment.
