Some like it hot – control panels are not in that elite group. When you are designing your control panels there are a few key points to keeping it cool.
- Heat rises – put the more sensitive products at the bottom
- Place the critical products next to the inlet or exhaust vent
- Make vent filters easily accessible so they can be changed
- A heat shield goes a long way on a rooftop in the summertime.
