New Water Solutions Card for Constant Pressure Systems
Customers' with multi-pump, constant water pressure requirements now have a new solution from Schneider Electric to meet their specific needs. The Water Solutions Card is one of the first plug-and-play option cards for the Altivar® line of variable frequency drives (VFD) that simply plugs into the Altivar 61 VFD to provide control for up to four pumps simultaneously. This Card reduces hardware and installation costs by controlling the speed of one drive while running other pumps or motors from full voltage starters and/or soft starts.
The Water Solution Card reduces control panel footprints due to its compact size and by eliminating the need for a PLC or third-party controller. It also has configurable options to meet numerous application requirements, including sleep and wake functions, frost protection, pipe fill, anti-jam and flow limitation, as well as alarm functions with fault logging for better traceability.
