New Modicon® Momentum™ Processor
Schneider Electric has expanded the Modicon® Momentum™ product line with the addition of the Momentum Model 171CBB970 30 processor with built-in fourport Ethernet Switch and RS 232/485 communication port. The new processor can be used in control applications such as distributed I/O scanning, data acquisition and peer-to-peer communications between multiple processors, by connecting its Ethernet ports to Modbus® TCP/IP devices such as Advantys™ and Momentum I/O. The Momentum processor provides all of the power and programming capability of larger systems and is designed to be programmed with either the Concept™ or ProWORX 32™ programming software.
