The H.VIR COMET^® Infrared window helps safely locate faulty electrical components before they cost money and downtime

.The H.VIR COMET^® Infrared window is a patented transparent window, which enables permanent access for inspection of electrical components without disturbing operations. Specially developed for infrared inspections, the window is made of a glass-like material that is transparent to infrared rays and registered by a thermographic camera. The complete unit is permanently fitted into electrical equipment and enables infrared inspections to be performed safely and without downtime and is distributed exclusively by Square D Services in the U.S. and Canada.

Applications:
The H.VIR COMET Infrared window is a UL-Recognized Component for installation on NEMA Type 3 and NEMA Type 12 equipment such as switchboards, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers, generators and junction boxes. The window is available in 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch diameters for either shortwave or longwave transmission.
