Model III Power-Zone® Package Unit Substations
Model III Power-Zone Package Unit Substations incorporate into one pre-assembled unitized module, an HVL/cc™ primary disconnect switch, a Dry-Type transformer and an I-Line® distribution section. The distribution section may also be equipped with an individually mounted secondary main breaker. Special barrel wound dry-type transformers employing resin encapsulated VPI techniques are used to achieve the low loss, compact design necessary for the space saving package substation concept.

Available in primary voltages of 2.4kV through 13800kV in 75 through 1000 kVA sizes. Secondary voltages of 600 V delta, 480 V delta, 480Y/277, 208Y/120 and 240 V delta are available. Fan cooling increases the self-cooled kVA rating 33.3%.
