TVSS
6 In. Motor Control Center Bucket
The MCC TVSS unit is a high-performance modular surge protective device
based on the IMA TVSS platform. These units are available factory assembled,
or individually for retrofit applications. They plug easily onto the bus
stack of a Model 6 Motor Control Center.
- Versatility. MCC TVSS units Surgelogic
TVSS can be installed in Model 6 Motor Control Centers. Peak surge current
ratings per phase range from 120kA to 240kA. Two units can be used together
to achieve 320kA or 480kA peak surge current rating per phase.
- Compact Design. The Integrated MCC
TVSS unit requires only 6“ of space. Much less space than competitors
MCC TVSS units or externally mounted TVSS devices.
- 200 kA SCCR Meets Requirements of the 2002
NEC Change. The MCC units with Surgelogic TVSS meet the new 2002

- Competitively Priced. The MCC TVSS unit
has been price positioned at market levels that are competitive with
comparable units.
