Square D introduces new 16mm Push Buttons with 2-3 day delivery!

Square D has added a new range of 16mm Push Buttons to its family of operator interface products. The Telemecanique XB6 is one of the only 16mm lines assembled in the United States and thus offers 2-3 day delivery. The XB6 is ideal for light industrial environments, semiconductor assembly and test applications as well as security and monitoring systems in hotels and hospitals.

"Typical lead times for our competitors 16mm Push Buttons are 4 to 6 weeks," said Senior Product Specialist James Renie. "We assemble our at our plant in Asheville, NC which dramatically shrinks our delivery time. Through our extensive network of distributors, customers can get the complete 16mm pushbutton line in just a few days."

This 16mm product provides reliability, economy and aesthetics in a package that has NEMA 4X rating and is UL, CSA, and CE marked. Safety is enhanced by slow-make, slow-break direct acting contacts. The operators have tactile and audible feedback.

Illuminated units utilize integrated, maintenance free, protected LEDs which operate at 6 to 24V DC or AC. Reverse polarity protection, spike and surge protection, and EMI protection is built into the LED units. The "true color" LED illumination includes red, green, yellow, blue and white. This is the only line of 16mm Push Buttons offering white and blue LEDs as standard.

The XB6 is the only 16mm pushbutton line available with direct-acting contacts (B300/R300, 3 amp, 300 volt) and tactile/audible feedback in the same unit.
