Sepam™ Protective Relays

Sepam Series 20 and 40 Relays Features:

  • Intuitive, Graphic Display -- Graphic LCD display features backlight with auto contrast adjustment, and allows user access to operational and diagnostic information, power measurements and alarms, as well as password-protected setup.
  • Industry standard communication protocol Platform -- Modbus RTU (JBUS profile) communications, requires an optional communications module to provide an open system for connectivity to PowerLogic and control systems.
  • Better zone protection Platform -- Interconnected Sepam relays provide accelerated zone tripping while maintaining coordination with the electrical system.
  • Switchgear Diagnosis Platform -- Continuous, complete circuit breaker monitoring; number of operations, operating time, charging time, cumulative breaking current both global and by bands of fault current levels and trip circuit monitor.
  • Self-Monitoring Platform -- Continuous self-testing monitors the complete relay unit and it's associated modules. Switching to inhibit position if malfunction is detected, with alarm indication and watchdog logic output.
  • Power Monitoring Functionality -- Series 40 relays include power monitoring functionality to assist in managing the electrical system.
