Seriplex® cabling solution

Seriplex I/O is mounted in each unit and connected using a specially designed, 600 volt multi-conductor trunkline (with six taps) mounted in each vertical wireway. Each tap connection is connected to a starter and other units via a short tap cable.

Seriplex network cabling can communicate to other network protocols such as Modbus® Plus , DEVICENET® and ETHERNET® via a Seriplex / Momentum™ Interface. Simple configuration can map the entire MCC as a single network drop.

Network management is not required -- the Seriplex I/O setup is accomplished by using a hand-held set-up tool. Addresses are pre-set at the factory but can easily be changed on site. Each Seriplex network within an MCC has a maximum I/O count of 240 inputs and 240 outputs. If additional capacity is required, an additional Seriplex network can be added.
