The Meter-Pak line addition that meets the unique needs of the
utility market
The all-in-one, multi-metering solution for lever bypass applications, the Lever-Type Bypass Meter-Pak Meter Center is designed to meet specific utility requirements for lever bypass provisions for residential and light commercial construction projects, such as apartments, duplexes, strip malls and small office applications. Available in single phase, the meter center consists of two, three or four meter socket (plus tenant circuit breaker) positions and is rated for use as service entrance equipment only.
Features and Benefits:
- Hub provisions in the top endwall and service entrance
knockouts in the bottom endwall accommodate either overhead or underground
feed, per utility requirements.
- Unique, swing-up rain channel provides sufficient
space for circuit breaker wiring out of bottom endwall and facilitates
easy installation.
- Lifting handles on the main lug pull-section cover
facilitate quick cover installation. Factory-installed, mechanical utility
lugs provide 'ready to wire' installation.
- Factory bussing with conical spring washers on electrical
connections ensures unsurpassed operational integrity.
- Lever-type bypass meter socket cleanly releases meter
socket blades when bypass is engaged, reducing arcing when the meter
is removed.
- 'Padlockable' breaker cover doors provide added security.
- Corrosion-resistant, stainless steel locking provisions enhance product durability and security.
