Integral Self Protected Starter
The Telemecanique Integral self-protected starter combines all the functions of a disconnect, short circuit protective device, contactor and overload relay in a coordinated motor controller. A wide variety of easy-to-install auxiliary blocks and interface modules provides powerful control capabilities.

Compared to traditional combination motor control circuit installations, the INTEGRAL starter requires 60% less panel space. In addition, installation and wiring time is dramatically reduced: simply snap the INTEGRAL device onto a 35 mm DIN rail and connect load and line side wires. Devices are available either reversing or non-reversing, 18, 32, or 63 amperes. NEMA-rated types 1 and 12 enclosed devices are also available.

The INTEGRAL self-protected starters are UL listed as a category E combination motor controller and verified to meet "Type 2" coordinated protection per IEC standard 947-4. In addition, all Integral devices meet the "Total Coordination" requirements of IEC standard 947-6 (no damage to contactor or overload relay, and no welding of contacts after interruption of short circuit faults).
