Mag-Gard® Motor Circuit Protectors

• Adjustable instantaneous trip circuit breakers for single motor control, three-phase 60 Hz ac horsepower ratings, from 200 volts through 575 volts
• Magnetic only formats available from 3 to 1200 amperes, 600Vac, 50/60Hz motor horsepower ratings
• Standard molded case switches from 60 to 125 amperes, 240Vac (these do not provide overcurrent or short-circuit protection)
• Automatic molded case switches from 100 to 2500 amperes, 600VAC and 225 ampere 240VAC units (these are factory preset for instantaneous trip and are calibrated only to protect the molded case switch itself)
• Available with I-Line® constructions

Mag-Gard motor circuit protectors are UL recognized components specifically designed to meet NEC requirements for motor protection. When used in combination with Square D Type S starters, these instantaneous trip, adjustable circuit protectors provide UL Listed protection against short-circuit currents from 22,000A through 100,000A rms symmetrical at 600Vac maximum.

Like all other Square D molded case circuit breakers, Mag-Gard products feature a Push-To-Trip button, trip indication and single magnetic adjustment. All electrical accessories, auxiliary devices and terminals available for
Square D thermal-magnetic circuit breakers can be used on Mag-Gard products as well.
