UL 489 Listed Multi 9™ Miniature Circuit Breakers with 480Y/277 Vac Rating

This new series of UL 489 Listed Multi 9 C60 miniature circuit breakers can be used in 480Y/277 Vac systems. That makes them ideal for many OEM and industrial applications that previously required fuses. With amperages from 0.5 A to 20 A, they are ideal for fuse replacement, yet carry the UL 489 Listing that is required for branch circuit applications. (Previously, only UL 1077 supplementary protectors were rated 480Y/277 Vac at the lowest amperages.)

These breakers are available with two types of terminals: The first is suitable for use with crimp type ring terminals for up to #8 AWG wiring. The second has a two-barrel lug with binding screws, which accepts up to two #10 AWG wire. Both of these terminals provide fingersafe ingress protection per IP20 of IEC EN60529. This feature reduces the potential of incidental contact with live circuit breaker components.
