Busway

Powerbus™ 225 Low-Amp Busway
Delivers more flexibility, reliability, and features than any other
low-amp busway product.

Powerbus 225 is engineered to replace old, unreliable cable and conduit systems. This next-generation power distribution system is loaded with exceptional features, including a 200% neutral and a 100% isolated ground path. Powerbus 225 is rated to 600 V, and is NEMA® and UL® Listed.

Benefits

  • Easier Installation - Powerbus 225 offers snap-and-bolt hanger design, and plug-in joint connections. An all-aluminum housing makes the busway lighter and allows it to serve as the system ground. The busway is completely configured and tested at the factory, reducing the time and effort necessary to install the busway.
  • Improved Reliability - Busway features designed to improve its reliability include maintenance-free joints to protect against corrosion, IP43/IP54 water protection to keep the busway watertight in a splash environment, and an optional 200% neutral to provide optimum power protection. These features will help prevent downtime, which promises fewer hassles and less maintenance expense.
  • More Flexibility - Powerbus 225 provides a modular design that allows easy reconfiguration and relocation of the busway. This flexibility makes Powerbus 225 the right choice for nearly all power distribution applications.
  • Increased Safety - IP2X (IEC Designations) plug-in openings provide safe connections that are easy to engage from a cherry picker or a ladder. Powerbus 225 eliminates the troublesome and dangerous connections associated with old cable and conduit systems.
  • Less Expense - Powerbus 225 includes all-copper conductors for the greatest electrical efficiency. Also, its joints are maintenance-free, which reduces the costs associated with downtime, labor, and supplies usually required for upkeep.
