Open and modular, the Advantys™ OTB offer is an ideal solution for “optimized” type distributed input/output requirements. It is designed to provide the right technical and economical balance for machine manufacturers and users seeking the best compromise between size, ease of installation/cabling, and cost.

With Advantys OTB I/O, you can create I/O islands managed by a master controller via a fieldbus or communication network. With its expandable block type architecture, the Advantys OTB is ideally suited for small and medium size islands of distributed I/O that can be placed closer to the sensors and actuators they control, reducing wiring time and costs.

Simple

The Advantys OTB offer is designed to be as simple to use as possible. It includes three communication bases (interface modules) for the various types of fieldbus, CANopen, Ethernet TCP/IP or Modbus® RS 485 Serial Line. Each base includes 20 I/O, totaling 12 - 24 VDC inputs, 6 relay outputs, and 2 - 24 VDC solid-state outputs.

• Utilizing the proven and popular Telemecanique Twido™ nano controller platform, each Advantys OTB interface module can be fitted with any expansion I/O module from the Twido offering.
• With its range of I/O expansions, this offer provides modularity allowing all requirements to be met bases that can be fitted with up to 7 digital or analog I/O modules. The expansion modules and interface modules simply clip-on to 35-mm symmetrical rail and enable configurations of up to 132 digital I/O and up to 48 analog I/O channels, or a mixture of both types.
• The Advantys OTB platform requires only a few references for spare parts and accessories needed for creating an island.

Designed for simple and compact machines, the Advantys OTB solution integrates perfectly with the Twido or Modicon TSX Micro™ automation platforms. Together, they provide a flexible and economical IP20 solution that is optimized for Small Machine Control.
