Great news if you provide energy efficient solutions! The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act passed by Congress and signed by President Bush does more than infuse $700 billion into the U.S. economy. It extends the energy efficient commercial building tax deduction through December 31, 2013.
This change provides additional incentives for owners of commercial buildings and designers of government owned buildings to invest in energy efficient solutions. Tax rebates up to $1.80 per square foot of building floor area are available for buildings achieving 50% energy savings over current ASHRAE standards. Specifically, these energy savings must be accomplished through energy and power cost reductions for the building's heating, cooling, ventilation, hot water, and interior lighting systems.
As a leading power, control and automation provider, Schneider Electric is able to help you obtain these savings for your customers providing energy efficient solutions and the services to make them work for you.
