Schneider Electric introduces the Telemecanique® brand Altivar® 21 Drive - the newest addition to the Altivar family of variable frequency AC drives. Designed for fan and pump applications, the Altivar 21 can significantly reduce your energy costs to produce a payback period of less than one year when installing it in place of other flow control methods.

The Altivar 21 delivers this extraordinary payback by:

• Reducing installation costs by eliminating throttling valves or inlet guide vanes typically used to control flow.
• Adjusting flow rates based on actual system needs for better energy management.
• Easily integrating into building management systems by using internally mounted option cards to connect to Lonworks, BACnet, MetaSYS N2 and APOGEE P1 FLN networks.
• Reducing panel space requirements by eliminating the need for costly externally mounted gateways and power supplies, as well as enabling side-by-side mounting with de-rating.
• Eliminating the need for line reactors and chokes for reducing harmonics.
